Worship
We meet at 10AM Sunday mornings. We are located at 1004 Locust 63101 in the basement of The Bridge in downtown St. Louis. Our service lasts about an hour. We sing, pray, read from the Bible, and take communion every week. We might be in the basement of a wine bar, but this is a sacred event.
Worship is a place of rest. You take all the worries, cares, concerns, joys, celebrations and bring them all in with you at the worship service, where God comes to meet you. He revels Himself through His Word the Bible and His Holy Supper.
Come just as you are. Worship at VintageTen is less formal then a traditional church, but carries all the weight of 2000 years of worship. We receive God, and respond in song. Carl Caspersen leads us in music with some of the best artist in town.
Our pastor commits to always bring a faithful message from the Scripture in a passionate way. The environment is intimate and small, and the message is honest to life and what God is doing in the midst of His people.
Pastor Jason Rust
Jason was ordained in the summer of 2007 after eight years of college and graduate school at the seminary. He and his wife Rebecca, son Titus and yet to be named baby live here in downtown St. Louis since 2005. Learning what it meant to live in an urban downtown environment continues to be a joy for all of them. Living in the city like this is an opportunity to live shoulder to shoulder with a diversity of people, and a daily reminder of the joys that God has blessed humanity with as well as the hurt that humanity endures.
Jason's heart and passion is for the people that God loves. He is blessed to serve the family that God has given him. Jason looks forward to the ways that God will continue to use his gifts here for the downtown neighborhood.
